Anna Taylor, Graduate Student in Planetary Sciences Receives 2025 College of Science Service Award
Research Interests: Anna Taylor studies atmospheric escape on exoplanets – the process where intense starlight heats a planet’s atmosphere, causing gases to escape into space. This is especially common on gas giants that orbit close to their stars. By modeling this escape and comparing it to telescope observations, she aims to understand how planets evolve and what their atmospheres reveal about their history and potential habitability.
