TAP Initiatives
The TAP Program currently features four interdisciplinary initiatives to focus scientific discussions and advance large proposal development efforts that involve multiple scientists across Astronomy, Physics, Planetary Science and relevant partnering departments, institutes, centers, units, and interdisciplinary programs. Several new Initiatives are anticipated to be developed in the next few years in order to better represent the breadth of science conducted in TAP departments and advance ongoing/future experimental, computing and observational efforts.
The Initiatives meet regularly for short talks on current research, to discuss new directions, and to encourage collaboration on projects of mutual interest among TAP members. Talks are informal and geared towards sharing research and identifying collaborative opportunities.
All TAP members are welcome and encouraged to join these conversations. Please contact the lead person for more information and meeting dates.
